DIAMOND DESHIELDS
As a WNBA champion, All Star, USA national gold medalist, Diamond DeShields knows firsthand the power of resilience, clarity, and support. Diagnosed with Keratoconus, a degenerative eye condition, Diamond’s personal journey navigating vision challenges ignited a deeper calling: to make access to quality vision care a right—not a privilege.
Her mission is deeply personal. Having overcome her own barriers in sport and health, Diamond created The 3-D Foundation to ensure that youth—especially in underserved communities—receive the vision services and mentorship they need to thrive in school, in sport, and in life.
